KB BICOL CAMARINES NORTE CELEBRATES 18TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY

DAET, Camarines Norte -- The KB Bicol in the province of Camarines Norte is slated to celebrate its 18th year anniversary on September 14, 2013 with a simple get-together of members from various chapters in the province at the Heritage Center, Old Municipal Bldg., this municipality. This was bared yesterday by Sir Emon Rogando (139-75), president of KBB – Daet (KB139) Chapter which will host the event dubbed as “The Camarines Norte Provincial Anniverary Celebration cum Provincial Assembly. Rogando said they expect members of various chapters affiliated with the KBNet Phils, Inc. (KPI) such as: KBNet Quezon, KB Mediacom and KBNet NCR to join them in their celebrations. The activities, according to Rogando, will start at 2:00 PM assembly infront of the Old Municipal Bldg and will be followed by a Motorcade at 3:00PM. The program will be at 5:00PM. Started as Kabalikat Civicom in 1995 with Sta Elena (KB138) Chapter and Daet (KB139) Chapter spread to other municipalities of Mercedes (KB140), Talisay (KB142), Bagong Sirang, Labo (KB157), Jose Panganiban (KB178), San Lorenzo (KB189), Paracale (KB209), San Vicente (KB214), Labo (KB216) and Basud (KB219). In 2006, chapters of Camarines Norte, especially KB139 joined other chapters in the Bicol region formed the KB Bicol. In 2009, Sir Jennis I. Nidea (30-01) and Dr. Armin S. Santos (33-02), co-founded the KBNet Philippines, Inc. (KPI), a national network and umbrella organization of volunteer groups with KB Bicol, KB Malaya, KB Mediacom, KBNet Quezon, KBNet National Capital Region and KB Ng Masa as member-organizations.
