NIDEA TO LAUNCH KBNET MALAYA LAGUNA (KBNL) / CALAMBA CITY MAYOR PICHECO WILL BE GUEST SPEAKER

CALAMBA City, Laguna, Jan. 23, 2014 -- Founder/National President Jennis I. Nidea (30-01) of the Kalipunan ng mga Boluntir sa Pilipinas (KBNet Phils), a national network and umbrella organization of volunteer groups in the country officially accepted the affiliation of 5 chapters in the province of Laguna and 1 chapter in Cavite province. In a meeting hosted by the Calamba City headed by Sir Jose N. Estrada, Jr. (47-06) held yesterday (Jan 22, 2014) at the Agua Caliente Resort, Bgy. Pansol, this city, Nidea formally announced that the Laguna group will be officially known as: KBNET MALAYA LAGUNA (KBNL) and the formal launching will be on February 8, 2014 at the same venue. The existing chapters – Calamba City (KBNL48) Chapter, Sta Rosa City (KBNL500 Chapter, Binan City (KBNL53) Chapter, Cabuyao City (KBNL54) Chapter and San Pablo City (KBNL78) Chapter, all in the province of Laguna and the lone chapter in Cavite, the Silang (KBNL42) – were all represented by their respective officers were elated of the development as they vowed to be more active partners of their respective local government and of the national government agencies. Nidea who was accompanied by Sir Fernando Mapula (400-01), KBNet Quezon provincioal chairman, said that before they traveled to Calamba City, he and Dr. Armin S. Santos (33-02), KBNet co-founder and national chairman, discussed matters that will solved problems being encountered by the Laguna group. On the same gathering, the KBNL formally organized their Provincial Executive Council (PEC) and elected their provincial officers. As agreed, all regular members of the 6 chapters will take or renew their oath of membership before Sir 30-01, after which, all the chapter officers and the PEC Officers will be charged and inducted.
